My second engineering diploma is in human factors / ergonomics.
My studies in this field were at the Department of Ergonomics and Psychology
of the Budapest Technical University. I had a great time studying there, the atmosphere was collaborative,
the teachers / instructors were knowledgeable, and they were open
to learning more - from me, too.
Basically, human factors engineering aims at designing / making usable things for people.
As an example of what this field is like,
read a paper which I wrote about metaphors, user interfaces
and the Internet.
